More than 80 years of tradition and innovation: the Glanzer family business in Sölden is committed to the best service, international top brands and alpine lifestyle all year round with its employees.
A success story for 80 years
The foundation stone was laid for Glanzer, our Sölden-based company, more than eight decades ago. Locals and guests conquered the mountains and snow-covered slopes with "made-to-measure Glanzer footwear" and the first leather ski boots. Today, we are the third generation of the family to run the company.
Always keeping up with the times. Sölden was catapulted into first place among the leading winter sports resorts in the Alps with the opening of the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car in 1966. The Glanzer family responded promptly to this and captured the spirit of the times with their own ski hire. A flair for current trends & innovations in sports, fashion and lifestyle is still one of our most important success factors today.

The Glanzer family was one of the first to run a business in Sölden. Starting out as a small shoe shop, we grew steadily and our activities developed from sports and fashion to flat blocks.
As a family-run business, we are still a guarantor of continuous growth and consistent further development today.
Glanzer - Sölden 1936 stands for service and performance. When we talk about service, we mean the enthusiasm of our customers through social interaction and conviviality. As is customary in families, handshake quality counts for us; service-orientation also means constantly developing new offers that inspire our customers.
Ideally, as Glanzer 1936, we can provide sports enthusiasts in our region with everything they need, from accommodation and sports equipment to souvenirs for friends and family.
The value of performance is important to us, because this is the only way we can live service-orientation. Performance means that we master our professional challenges and are committed. We are precise, but also motivated to constantly improve and prove ourselves. This applies to all of our services, from the sports programme to living in glanz & glory.
The most important value in our differentiation is freedom. By freedom, we mean enjoying the feeling of vastness and greatness, lingering in the moment. How can you experience freedom through and with Glanzer 1936?

With overall 12 stores in Sölden and 4 accommodations in the Ötztal, we're one of the biggest employers with a highly motivated and young team. Located in a central area we offer comfortable and nice offices and shops and provide varying task areas.
